Queen Victorians bloomer make nearly £10,000

Some people collect strange things from all era’s and the Victorian era is quite a collectable one.

A pair of Queen Victoria’s silk bloomers were among a selection of 19th Century undergarments have been sold at auction by and sold for an astonishing £9,375 at an auction in Edinburgh last night.

They were among items from Old Battersea House, the London home of U.S. publishing clan the Forbes family.

How very odd!
