How to make a Christmas keepsake box

A keepsake box is basically where you keep your physical mementos that are special to you, they are in fact also called a memory box.

They were typically made from wood were often created mark life’s major events, in the Victorian era those being christening, wedding, birthday, or maybe even your first Holy Communion. Keepsake boxes were also given to help overcome grief and were place to treasure memories of those who had passed.

You can of course buy them and they are a very nice Christmas present, but personalizing them and making them your own is far more of a treasure.
